About the session

Some pressure helps us do our best work. Too much, for too long, wears people down. This workshop helps your people tell the difference and do something about it.

It starts with a simple map of a typical working week: where the pressure comes from, when it peaks and what makes it worse. Teams then sort each pressure into three piles: what we can change, what we can influence and what we have to accept. That one exercise usually changes the conversation from "it's all too much" to "here's where we can start".

Next come practical techniques that work in a real working day, from planning and saying no well to quick ways to reset between meetings. Everyone finishes with a short personal plan, and each team agrees one change it will make together.

Questions

What's different in the 60-minute version?

The 60-minute version covers the pressure map, the sorting exercise and a shorter set of techniques. The 90-minute version adds more practice and the team commitment.

Do people have to talk about their own stress?

No. The exercises use a typical working week, so people can join in without sharing anything personal.

Is this therapy or clinical advice?

No. It's a practical awareness session for teams, not a substitute for professional support.

What if the session brings something up for someone?

Our hosts keep things practical and never ask anyone to share personal experiences. Every session ends with where to find support, including your own employee assistance programme if you have one, and organisations such as Mind and Samaritans.

How does a hosted virtual game work?

Everyone joins your usual video call. We split the group into teams of up to 10, each in its own breakout room with a dedicated host who shares the game on screen and types in the answers the team agrees on. A live leaderboard keeps the competition going.

How far ahead do we need to book?

At least 48 hours ahead, Monday to Friday. Same-day sessions are sometimes possible on request: book as usual and we will confirm as quickly as we can.

Is there a minimum or maximum group size?

There is no maximum. The minimum booking is £150 + VAT, so groups under 13 people pay the minimum.
