About the session

Resilience is often misunderstood as being tough, or never struggling. In reality it's a set of skills anyone can practise: making sense of setbacks, focusing on what you can control and knowing when to ask for help.

In this session teams work through realistic workplace scenarios: a project that falls apart, a reorganisation, a difficult piece of feedback. For each one they practise reframing what happened, finding the parts they can control and deciding where support could come from.

The scenarios are fictional, so nobody has to share their own experiences. Everyone leaves with a personal resilience toolkit and a clearer sense of how the team can support each other when things get tough.

Questions

What's different in the 60-minute version?

The 60-minute version uses two scenarios instead of three.

Is it about working harder?

Not at all. It's about recovering well, asking for help and focusing energy where it makes a difference.

Is this therapy or clinical advice?

No. It's a practical skills session, not a substitute for professional support.

What if the session brings something up for someone?

Our hosts keep things practical and never ask anyone to share personal experiences. Every session ends with where to find support, including your own employee assistance programme if you have one, and organisations such as Mind and Samaritans.

How does a hosted virtual game work?

Everyone joins your usual video call. We split the group into teams of up to 10, each in its own breakout room with a dedicated host who shares the game on screen and types in the answers the team agrees on. A live leaderboard keeps the competition going.

How far ahead do we need to book?

At least 48 hours ahead, Monday to Friday. Same-day sessions are sometimes possible on request: book as usual and we will confirm as quickly as we can.

Is there a minimum or maximum group size?

There is no maximum. The minimum booking is £150 + VAT, so groups under 13 people pay the minimum.
