The Responsible AI Decision Maker

AI rules tell people what to do. This builds the judgement. Teams face realistic scenarios where every choice has consequences: trust it, override it, explain it or escalate it.

About the session

Most AI risk doesn't sit in the algorithm. It sits in the moment a person decides what to do with the answer. Someone who accepts every AI recommendation is a risk; someone who overrides every one defeats the point.

In this session, teams work through realistic scenarios where every decision leads somewhere. The AI's recommendation looks right, but something feels off: approve it, check it, escalate it or ask it to explain? Your experience says one thing and the AI says another: is that good judgement or bias dressed up as intuition? A customer wants to know why they were turned down: how do you explain a decision the AI made?

Each team talks it through, makes its call and sees the consequences unfold. The 90-minute session covers three of the five modules, chosen to suit your teams.

What to expect

  • Realistic scenarios where every choice has consequences
  • Modules: trust the output, override or accept, explain the decision, spot the risk, escalate or own it
  • Team discussions led by a host in every room
  • Role-play explaining an AI decision to a customer
  • Shared standards your teams can use every day

Questions

Which modules are included?

Three of the five, chosen with you: trust the output, override or accept, explain the decision, spot the risk, and escalate or own it. Book a second session to cover the rest.

Who is it for?

Anyone who uses AI outputs or is affected by them, especially customer-facing teams, operations, compliance and middle managers.

Can the scenarios use our own tools and policies?

Yes. Tell us about the AI tools you use when we confirm the details and we'll build the scenarios around them.

How does a hosted virtual game work?

Everyone joins your usual video call. We split the group into teams of up to 10, each in its own breakout room with a dedicated host who shares the game on screen and types in the answers the team agrees on. A live leaderboard keeps the competition going.

How far ahead do we need to book?

At least 48 hours ahead, Monday to Friday. Same-day sessions are sometimes possible on request: book as usual and we will confirm as quickly as we can.

Is there a minimum or maximum group size?

There is no maximum. The minimum booking is £150 + VAT, so groups under 13 people pay the minimum.
