About the game

Monday morning. The project deadline has moved forward, there's a school play on Wednesday, a friend's birthday on Friday and the gym membership hasn't been used since January.

Each team lives through one very busy week. Every round, new demands arrive from work and from life, and the team decides how to spend a limited number of hours and a limited amount of energy. Puzzles and quick challenges win extra time, but every choice has knock-on effects.

Four meters track how the week is going: Work, People, Health and Rest. Push one too hard and the others start to fall. The winners aren't the teams who get the most work done; they're the teams who finish the week with all four meters still healthy. It's competitive, often very funny, and it starts real conversations about balance.

  • Demands from work and life, and only so many hours

Questions

Is it a game or a workshop?

It's a game, with puzzles, choices and a leaderboard. The host draws out a few lessons at the end, but it's mostly fun.

Do people have to share their own work-life balance?

No. Each team plays a fictional week, so nothing personal comes up unless people want it to.

How does a hosted virtual game work?

Everyone joins your usual video call. We split the group into teams of up to 10, each in its own breakout room with a dedicated host who shares the game on screen and types in the answers the team agrees on. A live leaderboard keeps the competition going.

How far ahead do we need to book?

At least 48 hours ahead, Monday to Friday. Same-day sessions are sometimes possible on request: book as usual and we will confirm as quickly as we can.

Is there a minimum or maximum group size?

There is no maximum. The minimum booking is £150 + VAT, so groups under 13 people pay the minimum.
